We recommend you bring us your diamond jewelry for inspection every 6 months. We will inspect the prongs to help prevent any possible damage or loss to your gemstones. Diamond inspections & jewelry cleanings are FREE!!!
Custom Jewelry Design & Work
Have something in mind, but can't find it anywhere? We'll be happy to assist you through the process of designing a new piece. We'll ensure the durability of the design as well as the beauty. Deposit of 33% is necessary unless stated before the work begins. Full payment upon receipt of custom jewelry work will denote the client's satisfaction. All custom work is non-refundable! We offer CAD (computer assisted design) which gives you a three dimensional computer image to assure you that the item you have in mind is the same item that we are picturing. This will give you the confidence that the item will come out perfectly as you envision it.
Jewelry Restyling
If an item in your jewelry box has gone out of style or you simply want to try something new or different, bring it to us. We'll work with your specifications to create something fresh and exciting.
Jewelry Repair
Our jewelry repairman has 20 years experience. We can repair rings, earrings, pendants, chains, pins, etc. Setting stones in their original setting or new style can be done. We also can repair costume jewelry. Most of our jewelry repairs are done on-site and in a resonable amount of time. We also have the area's only LASER WELDING machine. With this machine we can seamlessly service platinum prongs and perform platinum sizings, we can rebuild the most delicate of antique jewelry, and usually most repairs are completed within a week. Engagement rings and items purchased from us will always take priority, but we will accommodate your needs to the best of our abilities.
Pearl & Bead Restringing
We will custom-string pearls or restring necklaces or bracelets. This can be done back to its original state or we will be glad to help you create a different style of your choice.
Appraisals
We perform written jewelry appraisals appropriate for insurance at a rate of $ 75.00 per hour. Each jewelry appraisal comes with detailed description of the piece of jewelry. We also offer FREE insurance appraisals on your diamond or gemstone on any purchase in the store.
Watch Repairs
Watch battery replacement and removal/adding links are done on the premises. Complicated watch repair on mechanical watches are sent to our experienced watch maker. This usually involves an estimate of work to be done. The normal time frame from start to finish ranges from 3-4 weeks for basic crystals and service to 8-10 weeks for certified Rolex or swiss brand service. There is a fee collected before the watch is sent out to cover the cost of the insurance and delivery fees. The fee ranges from $ 25.00 to $ 250.00 depending on the value of the watch and the expected repair cost. If no work is done after the estimate is given we will keep a minimum of $ 25.00 and as much as the costs we have incurred to have your watch expertly inspected.
Engraving
We offer engraving on merchandise purchased in store, free of charge. For items brought in there is a fee. Items not purchased here are engraved at the customers risk, we assume no responsibility for the integrity of items not purchased from Charland Jewelers.
Gift Wrapping
This additional service is completely free of charge on items purchased here.
Layaways
We offer a 6 month layaway with 20% down, including tax. After 6 months, expired layaways will receive an in-store credit for the money received, no refunds!! Any payments made only qualifies for a refund within 7 days. Store credit will be issued after 7 days.

We accept all major credit cards.
Refunds
Refunds are offered within 7 days of purchase. All refunds must be "in new condition" and accompanied with original receipt or a copy of it. We do not offer returns or refunds on adjusted or altered items. Any items that has been ordered, sized, or altered in any way will not qualify for a refund or exchange. A store credit will happily be given on an item or deposit within 30 days of transaction.
